The Phone Book
The Phone Book launched the New Format Phone Book in late 2010. The changes they made had two aims. First, to evolve, develop and improve their customers' experience. Then, to ensure increased search volume in classified advertising – which generates more leads and conversions for advertisers.
The Phone Book, due to their geographical reach is the most local of the three main publishers. With 168 book areas, this directory represents a very good way to reach consumers at a low CPA.
Along with the change in size of The Phone Book, the other key transformation can be seen in the introduction of a broader range of Advertisement Units. There will be three new ad units: Double Quarter Column, Third Page (DHC), and Three Quarter Page. Naturally, these are designed to cater for different needs and varying budgets, making this directory a very flexible option.
What's more, The Phone Book continues to be the only three-in-one directory. With a Classified Section, Business and Residential Listings, The Phone Book sets itself apart. That's why it's always one of the key marketing channels we interrogate when we're planning print and online campaigns.
Currently, TMPMAGNET is working closely with The Phone Book to increase their online digital directories and to capitalise on the forthcoming London Olympics. 2012 promises to be a great year, both for The Phone Book and for the advertisers within it.
